Yad Yehuda's Annual School Supplies Drive

Each summer, Yad Yehuda distributes new school supplies to needy families in our community. Please partner with us!
Supplies needed (NEW items only, please):
  • Paper: Lined paper, copy paper, construction paper, spiral notebooks, composition books, index cards
  • Writing and Drawing Tools: Blue or black pens, #2 pencils, colored pencils, erasers, pencil sharpeners, pencil cases, colored markers, crayons, highlighters
  • General Supplies: Backpacks, lunchboxes, flash drives, 3-ring binders, pocket folders, tab dividers, scissors, mini staplers, scotch tape, liquid glue, glue sticks, hand sanitizers, tissues

Drop-Off Locations:
  • Yad Yehuda, 9601 Colesville Road.  At the corner of Colesville Road and Indian Spring Drive.  Our parking lot is accessed via Indian Spring Drive.  Donation bin is in the parking lot.
  • Kemp Mill: Front porch of 1212 North Belgrade Road
  • Any Capital Kosher Pantry Donation Box (located at many local shuls and inside Moti's Market & Shalom Kosher).
3 Ways to Participate!
  1. Order supplies online & ship directly to: Capital Kosher Pantry, 9601 Colesville Road, Silver Spring, MD 20901.
  2. Pick up extra supplies while you shop and drop off in a Capital Kosher Pantry donation bin (see donation bin locations below).
