CAPITAL KOSHER PANTRY FOOD COLLECTION LOCATIONS

Picture
The Capital Kosher Pantry has collection locations for non-perishable foods throughout the Greater Washington area, Generous volunteers at these and other partner institutions advertise food drives at their locations, maintain the box and deliver the contents to the Pantry when the box is full. We offer a publicly accessible drop-off for non-perishable food items at the entrance to the Pantry at 1910 University Blvd West, Silver Spring, MD 20902.

If your institution is interested in partnering with Yad Yehuda's Capital Kosher Pantry by maintaining a collection box at your location, please contact Susan Koss at 301-842-7135 ext 706 or

Yad Yehuda's Capital Kosher Pantry serves needy individuals and families across the entire Washington area Jewish community. It is an invaluable resource for the many members of the Jewish community who experience food insecurity. The Pantry is stocked with foods received from the Capital Area Food Bank, food stuffs and supplies that donors ship directly from our Amazon/Target/Walmart Wishlist's and — of course — foods and supplies dropped off at the collection locations throughout the area. All foods donated must be non-perishable, in non-breakable sealed containers, well within the "use by" date and with reliable kosher certification.
