Yad Yehuda's Capital Kosher Pantry serves needy individuals and families across the entire Washington area Jewish community. It is an invaluable resource for the many members of the Jewish community who experience food insecurity. The Pantry is stocked with foods received from the Capital Area Food Bank, food stuffs and supplies that donors ship directly from our Amazon/Target/Walmart Wishlist's and — of course — foods and supplies dropped off at the collection locations throughout the area. All foods donated must be non-perishable, in non-breakable sealed containers, well within the "use by" date and with reliable kosher certification.
As Jewish communities in the Greater Washington area continue to grow, so have the number of families and individuals needing assistance. As a volunteer staffed organization, every dollar donated translates into direct assistance. Please consider making a donation of any amount.
