The Tomchei Shabbos program is designed to help local families and individuals in financial distress purchase much-needed food for Shabbat and Yom Tov. This program provides qualified families and individuals with gift cards so they can shop in a confidential and respectful manner without stigma. 

​​The program currently helps over 500 people every week within the Greater Washington area. As Yad Yehuda is run only by volunteers, every dollar donated translates into direct assistance. Your donations are essential to helping us maintain this much needed community program. ​
