Professional Certification Assistance

The Professional Certification Assistance program aims to improve the recipient's financial situation with a grant or an interest free loan towards career-enhancing certifications and licensing. In many professions, an individual can obtain additional credentials to obtain a raise or even progress to the next step in their career. Although these credentials may only cost a few hundred dollars and have a great benefit, the upfront cost can sometimes still be out of reach. With this pilot program, Yad Yehuda aims to make career-enhancing credentials available to those otherwise unable to afford them.
Some examples of "eligible" credentials include:
  • CompTIA Security+
  • Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Exams
  • Fundamentals of Engineering (FE/EIT) exam

Some examples of "ineligible" credentials include:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Master's degree

Standard College Tuition Assistance
The Yad Yehuda "Professional Certification Assistance" program does not offer standard college assistance since there already exist many assistance programs, both in the form of student loans and scholarships opportunities .

Professional Certification Assistance - Interest Free Loan Application

In as much detail as possible, please detail your plan for how the certification will improve your financial situation.
Please Note: As this is a pilot program and it is difficult to predict interest, there might not be sufficient funding for all deserving applicants.
